Sunlight, Sunlight, You Are So Bright and I Am So Right
2023
Crayons and markers on paper, wood frame
12” x 15”

A child’s drawing is presented in a simple wood frame and intentionally hung askew. This small gesture destabilizes the sincerity of the image and draws attention to the tension between innocence and control, authorship and display. The work invites reflection on how meaning is shaped by context, framing, and imperfection.
